CIFA Membership


			MEMBERSHIP The Council of Infrastructure Financing Authorities (CIFA) is a national nonprofit association of public authorities, with affiliate members, devoted to improving the awareness and understanding of infrastructure financing issues, events and trends affecting states and localities. CIFA has four membership categories: Public Member: Public authority or agency empowered within one or more states to provide financial assistance to meet infrastructure needs on a statewide basis. Associate Member: Public authority or agency that provides financing or other assistance to meet infrastructure needs on less than a statewide basis. Affiliate Member: National or regional affiliate membership is for corporations or other legal entities. Individual affiliate membership is limited to academicians and individuals with no direct corporate association. International Member: International Affiliate Members shall be public financing authorities which are empowered within a country other than the United States and its possessions and trust territories to provide financial assistance for infrastructure needs, on a regional or national basis.
